Sultan Ali Jawdi, the Chief Editor of Radio Nasim, was released from prison

Relatives of Sultan Ali Jawadi, the chief editor of Radio Nasim in Daikundi, confirmed his release and say that Mr. Jawadi was released from prison today April 6, 2024.
Mr. Jawadi was arrested in August of last year on the charge of cooperating with foreign media and propagandizing against the de facto government, and was sentenced to one year in prison after the trial.
Now, based on the decree of Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzadah, the remainder of his imprisonment was forgiven on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and he was released from prison.
Bakhtar News Agency which is under the control of de facto government has reported that according to the order of Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzadah, about 406 prisoners, including 338 men, 40 women and 28 children, have been released from Pol-e Charkhi Prison as well.
