The press office of Bamyan Police reports the destruction of more than 29 acres of land where narcotics were cultivated.
This institution, by publishing a newsletter, said that this area of agricultural land that was under drug cultivation was cleared by anti-narcotics forces today, Saturday 6th of July in Shibar district of Bamyan province.
The news report adds that this was done based on the guidance of the Bamyan police commander and the order of Shaikh Hebatullah Akhundzadah.
Bamyan was known as a province free of drug cultivation, but recently, apparently, the cultivation and trafficking of this destructive phenomenon has increased in the province, and there are always reports of the destruction of drug cultivation and the arrest of people related to its trafficking and sale.
