The Ministry of Propagation of Virtue, Prevention of Vice and Hearing Complaints of the caretaker government, by presenting the annual report of this organization in media center of government, has said that in the past one year, it has prevented 2638 cases of “violence against women” and in addition to that, with 295 cases of “Selling women” and 338 cases of “abusing women” have also been deterred.
Previously, Molah Hebbatullah Akhundzada had issued a decree prohibiting forced marriage in exchange for the blood price of the victim or for the purpose of resolving conflicts between families and tribes.
The Ministry has also announced the determination of a single time to broadcast the call to prayer through the loudspeakers of mosques and said that 460 loudspeakers have been installed for this purpose in Kabul City to broadcast the call to prayer in a coordinated and simultaneous manner.
Another part of the annual report of MOPVPE tells that the “law of listening to complaints” was approved by Molah Hebbatullah Akhundzada, and based on it, 11 legal documents and working instructions of the officials of that ministry were prepared and implemented.
90% correction of audio, visual and print media publications with the aim of reforming society, arresting and detaining 448 amulet writers and 528 sorcerers and transferring their relative files to legal and judicial authorities and also destroying 30 thousand cases of illegal ethical films has been cited as one of the other achievements of this ministry.
It has also been said that all hookah houses and gambling houses have been blocked in the country.
The MOPVPE, among other things, has reported that they destroyed more than 21,000 musical instruments in the past year. With the re-establishment of the “Islamic Emirate” government, any kind of musical art activity has been declared illegal.
