Increase in Traffic Accidents in Bamyan; The Last Incident Left Two Dead and Seven Injured

A traffic incident in center of Bamyan Province has resulted in death of two people and the injury of seven others. This incident took place around 9:00 AM this morning, due to the collision of a Nissan type car with a heavy turbo vehicle in “Surkhdar” area in northwest of Bamyan city, and one woman and one child died and seven others were injured, including two women is confirmed.

The Press and Public Relations Office of the Bamyan Police Headquarters confirmed this incident in a newsletter and added that the traffic police went to the scene of the incident and transferred the injured to the provincial hospital of Bamyan province to be treated.

In another event, three people were injured in a traffic accident in the center of Bamyan last night. This incident happened last night as a result of deviating from the road and overturning a “Four Runner” car in the vicinity of Shashpol, and it has resulted in the injury of three of its occupants. Unauthorized speed and inattention of the driver are said to be the main cause of this incident.

Every year, with the arrival of the summer season, Bamyan witnesses a flood of tourists from different parts of the country, and this causes an increase in traffic and the amount of road accidents. Last week also, a terrible traffic incident in Shibar district of Bamyan Province resulted in the death of five people and the injury of two other passengers of a passenger vehicle.
