Bamyan Governor Office

In 2024, government offices in Bamyan generated approximately 852 million AFN in revenue

In year 2024, Bamyan province has earned around 852 million Afghanis in revenue from various sources.

The press office of Bamyan province, in a published statement, mentioned that these figures were presented during an annual performance reporting meeting of the district governors, held at the governor’s office in Bamyan. Additionally, in this meeting, it was reported that 272 million Afghanis had been spent on implementing projects across Bamyan province.

During this reporting session, the governor’s office, the Bamyan municipality, district governors, and district municipalities of Bamyan province presented their annual work reports.

The statement added that the district governors of Bamyan, while presenting the results and achievements of their annual activities to the provincial administration, requested the implementation of developmental and infrastructure projects. These include the construction of school buildings, health centers, roads, bridges, and small bridges, the establishment of drinking and agricultural water supply networks, the creation of telecommunication sites, the construction of retaining walls and flood barriers, and other essential services needed by citizens.

Another part of the statement noted that, based on the presented reports, development projects with a budget exceeding 272 million Afghanis were implemented and executed by government offices and national and international organizations during 2024.

Despite these efforts, the severe deprivation and extreme underdevelopment of Bamyan province remain significant challenges. The implemented projects do not adequately meet the province’s multifaceted needs, and there is still a strong demand for further efforts and increased budget allocations.
