Based on the reports published in the media, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the leader of Islamic Party of Afghanistan, has been forced to leave his home and workplace in Kabul and move to another place.
Karim Amin, a member of leadership of Afghanistan Islamic Party, said in a conversation with the media that Mr. Hekmatyar was forced by the caretaker government’s security forces to leave his home and workplace and go somewhere else.
While there were reports about the siege of Mr. Hekmatyar’s house, Mr. Amin denied this reports, but added that it was decided to move the leader of Islamic Party to another place.
It is said that the caretaker government claims that the land of Mr. Hekmatyar’s house and office belongs to the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan and should be returned.
There are also reports that after entering Hekmatyar’s residence, the security forces have collected the weapons, vehicles and documents there.
Mr. Hekmatyar is one of the people who, after years of war and conflict with the previous governments, finally returned to Kabul through an agreement, but after the fall of the regime, he did not leave the country and supported the caretaker government.
