Governor of Bamyan: “Outsiders Failed in Promoting Unveiling and Prostitution in Afghanistan”

Mawlawi Abdullah Sarhadi, the governor of Bamyan, who spoke in the local discourse “The Role of Youth in Consolidating National Unity” and in a group of “enlightened” girls in Bamyan, evaluated their role in implementing the Islamic hijab and the rules of religion as important and said: “Westerners and foreign countries In the last 20 years, were busy implementing projects of de-religiousness, cultural invasion, promotion of obscenity, prostitution and vices in Afghanistan, but Alhamdulillah, the enemies of Islam failed in their evil aim and could not make the slightest disturbance to the firm beliefs of the people of Afghanistan, especially women.

While stressing the importance of morals and social customs and observing the Islamic hijab, Mr. Sarhadi said that everyone is required to behave based on social and moral customs. He also said that believing Muslim women should follow the Qur’an and follow the Prophet’s (PBUH) daughter, Bibi Fatima Zahra (PBUH) as an example in the field of hijab and various issues in their lives.

In another part of his speech, the governor of Bamyan, referring to the provision of women’s rights and real status in the caretaker government, called the current government committed to providing the rights and real status of women in the framework of Islamic Sharia. He added that Muslim women and enlightened girls have a mission to promote the culture of chastity, hijab and Islamic beliefs at the world level, so that the world will be ready to accept Islamic culture and the prophetic tradition.

Mawlawi Sarhadi also attended the gathering of students and young men and described their role in enlightening and dynamism of the society as important and said: “The youth force is one of the important assets of a society and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is also responsible for consolidating the Islamic system, creating lasting peace and Reforming society needs young and educated people more than before.

It should be noted that the local discourse “The Role of Youth in Strengthening National Unity” on Saturday 10 August 2024 by a non-governmental organization and in cooperation with the Department of Information and Culture of Bamyan, with the presence of hundreds of young men and women of Bamyan, officials of government offices and the media. It was held in two separate halls for men and women in the center of Bamyan.
