Admirable Defeat of Khorasan Lions in the First Step

Afghanistan’s national futsal team lost three – one against Iran in its first match in Group D of the Asian Nations Cup in Bangkok, Thailand.
This match was held at 1:30 p.m. today in Hawmark Stadium in Bangkok and finally Khorasan Lions lost the result against their mighty opponent by presenting an admirable and exciting game.
Iran is the proudest team in Asia in futsal, and considering that it has won several championships and runner-ups in the previous period of these competitions, it has come to win the championship.
First, in the tenth minute of this game, Mahdi Karimi scored a goal for Iran and the first half ended with the same result, but at the beginning of the second half, Saeed Abbasi scored two more goals to make it difficult for Afghanistan. In the continuation of Afghanistan in the 26th minute of the game by Mehran Gholami; the top goal scorer of Thailand’s four-way competition, but in the end the game ended with a score of 3-1 in favor of Iran.

This site has also written that in the first match of its history in the Nations Cup, Afghanistan had a performance beyond expectations against Iran and presented a good performance, but ultimately lost.
The national futsal team of Afghanistan is scheduled to line up against Kuwait on Saturday, April 20 and against Bahrain on Monday, April 22. Due to the brilliance of the country’s national futsal team in the preparatory matches, hopes are set on its advancement to the next stages of the tournament.
