More than 30 Schools and Religious Madrasas Repaired in Bamyan

The buildings of 31 schools and religious madrasas have been fundamentally repaired in Bamyan Province at a cost of over 9 million Afghanis.

The press office of Bamyan Province stated in a newsletter that the repairing on these schools and madrasas was carried out by the Directorate of Education in Bamyan.

According to the newsletter, the repaired schools and madrasas were officially inaugurated today during a formal ceremony attended by local Bamyan officials.

The buildings of the Ittefaq Darul-Uloom and the Directorate of Education in Bamyan are among the repaired buildings.

Abdul Saboor Farzan Saighani, the spokesperson for the governor of Bamyan, added that the total cost of these projects amounts to 9,682,000 Afghanis, which was financed from the repairing budget of the Ministry of Education and implemented by private companies.
Bamyan is one of the provinces where many schools still lack standard and adequate facilities, requiring serious attention from the government and both national and international organizations.
