Qutt Al Rami Bamyan Team Became the Runner-up in the National Team Selection Competition

Qutt Al Rami team of Bamyan province won the runner-up position of the national team selection competition.

Directorate of Sports and Physical Training of Bamyan province has stated in a newsletter that Qut al-Rami team of Bamyan province won four gold medals and one bronze medal in the Afghanistan national team selection competition which was held last week in Nimrooz province with the participation of athletes from 13 provinces.

Among the team of eight athletes from Bamyan province, Mustafa Azimi in 80 kg, Gholam Abbas Mohammad in 65 kg, Mohammad Mehdi Nawrozi in 50 kg and Ali Khan Shirzad in 45 kg won the gold medals, and Mohammad Ali Alemi in 60 kg reached the third place.

The medalists of the Bamyan team, while winning these honors, have also qualified for the national team of Qutt al-Rami of Afghanistan.

These sports heroes arrived in Bamyan today Oct 15, 2024 and while they were welcomed, they were honored and appreciated by the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Bamyan.

Qutt al-Rami is one of the emerging martial arts that has attracted many enthusiasts among the young generation in Afghanistan in recent years.
