Militant Liberal Democrats

The intensification of the conflict between Israel on one hand against Hamas, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Yemen’s Houthis and the Islamic Republic of Iran on the other hand, is pushing the Middle East and the world towards a new security crisis.

It seems that the United States and the West, which are the main supporters of Israel’s killings in the region, have made a mistake in calculations and a strategic mistake. After Israel’s aggressive attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the assassination of Qassem Solaimani, the killing of Ismail Haniyah in Tehran, and several other cases, which followed Iran’s cautious and restrained responses, apparently America and the rest of the world had come to believe that Iran in Israel’s threats and disregard of international protocols and clear violation of the laws of war have been cut short. They thought that Iran either does not have the ability to attack Israel in a large scale and effectively and harm the interests and geography of that country, or that it is afraid of the West and Israel, and refrains from confronting Israel seriously. This way of thinking and miscalculation caused Israel to act more boldly and by carrying out terrorist operations on the soil of an independent country with an international reputation, Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, and a number of Iranian military officers were assassinated.

The brainchild of America and Israel was that in the end they will be able to destroy their opponents in the Middle East and continue their bullying in the region.

Iran’s recent retaliatory attack, however, showed that Iran’s strategic patience and self-restraint did not mean that country’s inability to confront Israel’s and the West’s open aggressions against the interests of other countries. By carrying out a missile attack on the territory of Israel, Iran showed that despite the comprehensive support of the United States and the West to Israel, which has kept the fire of war and killing in the Middle East burning even more than before and the killing machine of Israel more active than ever, Iran has the ability to not allow all of Israel’s arbitrary military actions to be carried out unilaterally and without any cost.

However, even if the Western axis and Israel under the leadership of the United States and NATO are able to suppress or destroy Iran and its allies, at least it has become clear to the whole world that America, contrary to their apparent claim based on ideology of Liberal democracy constitutes pacifism, de-escalation, and opposition to war and violence, more than any other country in the world, they seek war-mongering. The historical experiences of the past and the current crisis in the Middle East have clearly made it clear that American liberalism does not value democracy, does not care about human rights, does not accept the peaceful life of people alongside each other, and does not promote understanding and tolerance. It is accepted as the main method of interaction at the international level.

Liberal democracy, which was introduced to the world from America and the West, is exactly a copy of the autocratic authoritarian system that fulfills all its wishes and achieves its interests by means of guns, coercion, massacres, killings, violence and encroachment on land and interests.

In the culture of American liberalism, human rights, especially the right to life, are reserved for Western citizens and their allies, and people who are in conflict with their policies in any way are outside the scope of human rights and their human rights are denied.

The truth is that western liberal democracy prioritizes war-making policy more than anything else and prefers to seize and rule the world through force and violence.

The world has come to believe that the liberals’ declared and practical policies are at opposite ends of each other.
