Runaway Politicians and Worry About Political Death

The continuation of Doha meetings hosted by the United Nations, especially the third meeting which is scheduled to be held at the end of June, has made the leaders of the political parties and the officials of the deposed former government more worried and confused. This anxiety and worry originates from the fact that none of them were invited to participate in the upcoming meeting and were completely ignored.

It seems that what happened at the end of the previous government and in the last three years, and the policy that the international community has taken against Afghanistan, has brought these people to an undesirable and far-fetched result, and their hope of continuing to participate in Afghanistan’s politics is zero.

Lack of planning, lack of commitment to national interests, wealth accumulation and profit seeking, prioritizing ethnic and group interests, highlighting ethnic, religious, linguistic and group prejudices, absolute crudeness in politics and governance, not paying attention to strengthening the foundations of government and improving governance and finally completely drowning the country in corruption and disorder are issues that have been written with a prominent line in the records of the people who ruled in the past government. This is enough for the world, the West and the United Nations to have come to the conclusion that trusting these people again and entrusting the government of Afghanistan to them or even making them share in politics and power in Afghanistan is a big mistake that should never be repeated.

On the other hand, the fugitive Afghan officials and politicians know very well that their past record is so dark that they have almost completely lost their position and social base inside Afghanistan and among citizens, and Afghan people have no trust.

The hatred of Afghan people for officials of the previous government and leaders of the political parties is such that a large number of them may not be willing to accept them again and return to the power and politics of Afghanistan under any circumstances, and consider them the main cause of current political and economic crisis.

Therefore, some of the fugitive politicians of Afghanistan, by gathering in Vienna, are seeking to restore their lost position, and by holding such meetings, on one hand, they are seeking to increase their internal cohesion so that they can add more people in their collection to include themselves and on the other hand, by using advertising tools, attract the world’s attention towards them again.

Of course, bearing in mind that these people and groups have given up hope on support of West and America again, they have turned their eyes to other sources. Sometimes it is even seen that by using anti-Western and anti-American literature, they are seeking the support of Russia and the opposing powers of the West, so that they may be able to open an opening for a comeback, which is apparently impossible at the moment.

The declared and applied policies of the world towards Afghanistan indicate that the interaction with the current caretaker government of Afghanistan is the first priority and this government is the only option that has been counted on.

Therefore, the failed politicians of Afghanistan should write a memoir of their scandalous failures in the corner of exile and publish it as a lesson for future generations, so that they have done at least one positive thing in their lives, otherwise, apparently their political death has reached and they are dying.

The monster of politics in the world is very ruthless. The one who can’t play smartly will be eliminated from the competition and will be destroyed.
