In the Past Year, More Than One Hundred Thousand Tourists Have Visited Bamyan

Bakhtar governmental News Agency has reported today, April 3, that during the past year, more than 100 thousand internal and foreign tourists have visited the tourist attractions of Bamyan.
This news agency quoted Safiullah Rayed, the head of information and culture of Bamyan province, as saying that out of this total, about 1,500 tourists were foreigners and the rest were Afghan citizens.
According to the head of information and culture of Bamyan, this department has specific plans to attract more tourists in coming year, and is determined to provide more facilities in coming year in order to grow the tourism industry and attract more tourists. The construction of a luxurious hotel with excellent facilities in Band-e Amir is one of the most important projects that this directorate has in its plan. The supply of electricity needed in Band-e Amir and the construction of roads in this tourist area are among other things that the Department of Information and Culture of Bamyan intends to implement.
Bakhtar news agency also added that the reconstruction of the most important tourist attractions in Bamyan, including the city of Zahak and the city of Gholghola, as well as the provision of security in the province, are the achievements of the Department of Information and Culture of Bamyan.
Bamyan is one of the provinces where many tourist, historical and natural attractions are located, and thousands of Afghan and foreign tourists visit this province every year.
