Afghanistan national football team defeated Indian national football team with a score of 2-1 in a crucial match in the qualifying matches for the Asian Nations Cup.
This match was held today, Tuesday, at the Indra Gandhi Stadium in India, and the country’s national football team succeeded in leading India in an interesting and spectacular competition.
In this match, Indian national football team first scored a goal from the penalty spot, but in the 70th minute of the game, Rahmat Akbari opened the Indian goal with a long shot and tied the game. In the eighty-eighth minute of the game, Sharif Mohammadi, another national football player of the country, scored another goal for Afghanistan from the penalty spot, and finally the game ended with the result of 2-1 with the victory of Khorasan Lions.
Currently, Afghanistan is in the second place of its group with four points, stands higher than Kuwait and after Qatar, and hopes that by gaining points in the next matches, it will enter the next round of World Cup qualifiers.
