The planting campaign was started today by Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock in Bamyan province.
Based on a newsletter published by the press office of Bamyan governor, this campaign was officially started with the presence of the governor of Bamyan, a number of local government officials and scholars of this province, and its opening ceremony was held at Bamyan center boys High School in center of Bamyan.
The newsletter states that more than one million fruitful and non-fruitful saplings are going to be planted by the Department of Agriculture in cooperation with NGOs in the center and districts of Bamyan Province.
It should be mentioned that in the past, every year at the beginning of the new year and in spring, hundreds of thousands of saplings were planted all over Bamyan province, but due to the lack of proper and timely treatment, the absolute majority of these saplings were destroyed, and for the next one year, no traces will not remain.
It is hoped that, by taking special measures, the Bamyan Department of Agriculture will give priority to the care of newly planted seedlings so that their growth process can be done well.
Bamyan is one of the agricultural provinces and there is a good field for the development of agriculture and horticulture in it.
