The year 1402 went to the history archive and the calendar counter put the year 1403 on his desk to open another page of the adventurous book of life in the universe.
The beginning of the new year brings life to nature again and the spring dawn promises a new and refreshing season in life, based on the calendar of the Afghan education system, it is considered the beginning of a new round of the education process in many parts of the country.
With the opening of public and private universities, schools and formal educational institutes to students, a great wave of freshness and vitality covers the society and makes the embrace of life warmer than ever. The roar of the return of students to the seat of learning breathes a new spirit into the society and sows hope for development and prosperity in the tired and withered hearts of Afghan people.
Afghanistan; the land of wonders has separated its way from the whole world and taken a new path. Here, the beginning of the new academic year is not universal and inclusive, because gender-based boundaries issue permission to go and not go to school and university. Here, half of the people have the right to use and benefit from education, but the other half of the people in the society, due to the fact that they may become the cause of spreading corruption, face the prohibition of using knowledge and education and walking to schools and universities are closed to them.
Therefore, the beginning of the new academic and academic year in Afghanistan, unlike the whole world, brings the wave of happiness and sadness at the same time. A wave that leads to the creation of an incomprehensible feeling among many people.
What is the feeling of a mother whose son has gone through a period of education and is about to be promoted to a higher level, and at the same time has a daughter who has finished the sixth grade and is supposed to hold her knees of grief in her arms in the corner of the house? For which one she can be happy and for which one can be sad? How can she express the feeling of happiness and sadness at the same time? In the end, what will be the consequences of his confused inner state?
It is very difficult to understand and bear the feeling of a father who has endured countless hardships so that his only daughter will be perfect and her future life will not be ruined in ignorance like the previous generations, but she has been sent home all at once from her student seat and the whole perspective of the future of his life is shaped only by darkness and that’s it.
The mental situation of a girl who is sitting in the sixth grade is unbearable, while she knows very well that her last days are on the path of knowledge and this process is not going to continue. She has to say goodbye to all his hopes and dreams and crawl into isolation. She must now completely separate her future from what she had imagined and wait for the fate that will be written for her by others.
The three-year longing of tens of thousands of Afghan girls deprived of education is a pain that squeezes the heart of every understanding person. This shortcoming will bring social, economic, etc. damage to the society in the short and long term, which will never be possible to compensate.
Both men and women, as human beings equal in every respect, have the right to access all the resources and facilities of life, and public services, including education, should not be denied to any of them due to gender reasons.
How beautifully said, the beloved Prophet of Islam, that the acquisition of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim man and woman.
