The Iranian Ministry of Interior\u2019s Foreign Nationals Affairs Department has stated that currently, around 700 Afghan specialist and sub-specialist doctors are employed in hospitals across Iran.<\/p>\n
According to this department, a significant number of Afghan immigrants residing in Iran, including highly educated individuals, have managed to obtain special identification cards from service-providing agencies in recent years, enabling them to access essential services.<\/p>\n
Nader YarAhmadi, an official, noted that Iran’s employment atlas defines certain professions in which Iranian employers are allowed to employ foreign workers to meet their needs.<\/p>\n
He highlighted that the 700 Afghan doctors working in Iran provide valuable services. He also mentioned that over the past three years, three million undocumented migrants have been deported from Iran.<\/p>\n
In another part of his remarks, YarAhmadi urged Afghan citizens to obtain passports and visas before residing in Iran to prevent problems and avoid illegal issues at the borders.<\/p>\n
For many years, Iran has hosted millions of Afghan migrants and refugees who have contributed significantly to its labor market and economy. Many demanding and labor-intensive jobs in Iran are undertaken by Afghan citizens. Afghan workers often perform these tasks for very low wages while delivering substantial work output, generating considerable profits for Iranian employers.<\/p>\n
