An area of \u200b\u200bmore than four acres of land in Saighan district of Bamyan province, which was under drug cultivation, was destroyed and cleared by the security forces.<\/p>\n
The press office of the Bamyan Police Headquarter has published a newsletter saying that the anti-narcotics forces of this department, on Saturday June 29, 2024, were present in the area and attempted to destroy these lands.<\/p>\n
Also, in a separate incident, on June 23, about 27 square meters of land in the vicinity of the center of Bamyan province was also destroyed by anti-narcotics forces.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, in another report, one person from Saighan district and another from the center of Bamyan province have been arrested in connection with buying and selling drugs.<\/p>\n
According to the press office of Bamyan police headquarters, some drugs, cash, three mobile phones and a motorcycle were also recovered from these people.<\/p>\n
The suspects are in police custody and their case has been transferred to the court for legal proceedings.<\/p>\n
