The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has confirmed that at least 25 Hazara civilians were killed and wounded in an explosion in the west of Kabul last evening.
\nThis evening (Sunday, 7 January), this organization has emphasized on protecting the Afghanistan’s Hazara community and holding the perpetrators of such attacks accountable by publishing a message on its facbook page.
\nUNAMA also called for an end to targeted attacks against civilians.
\nLast evening, a passenger bus was targeted by an explosion in the “Telegraph” area of Dasht-e-Barchi in the west of Kabul.
\nThe police command of the de facto government for Kabul has announced the casualties of this incident as 2 dead and 14 injured.
\nHowever, released images from the explosion site show the bodies of at least 4 victims who have fallen on the ground.
\nThis is the second bloody attack on passenger bus vehicles in the west of Kabul in the past two months.
